I remember an old classic clip of Dylan as a youth, when he was asked by a clueless reporter whether he thought of himself as a singer or a poet, and he said he thought of himself as a song and dance man. He was kidding, but he wasn't. It's called show biz , and whatever image we want to project on these idols , we got to accept that they don't have to accept it.
