Come to NYC for the 4th of July. I can get y'all amazing tickets for the Fireworks. Gfunn, Drex and Phead are coming as well. It's something to think about...

Here are some my favorite cool summer destinations: San Francisco, Portland Oregon (and Maine, too), Boston and surrounding countryside especially the Bershire Mountains, Saugatuck, Michigan, and the Catskills and Adirondack Mountains near NYC.

Chicago is pretty far north for you but it can be a real steam bath so unless you're a diehard Sondheim fan like me, I'd give it a pass.

we really enjoyed colorado and the rocky mountain national park. not sure how cool it would be, but the scenery is gorgeous !

Memorial Day Weekend- Hamptons
June- Journey & Def Leopard at Jones Beach
4th of July- Here...Fireworks...Funn fam coming in town
LA/Malibu trip somewhere in there. I have to use my Alaska Airline credit.
Labor Day- Not sure...Trying to reschedule Vegas
September- Auburn for LSwho game.

Colorado had one of its mildest winters on record, and I bet the summer might be quite warm as well. But still, as they say ad nauseum, It's a dry heat.

In June/early July we'll go to Germany for the World Cup (we don't have any tickets, we'll just be in the bars), Croatia for the islands, finishing up at Strasbourg for the beginning of the Tour de France--and hopefully to see our older son.

That time of year, I'd suggest Seattle, or Vancouver. I've been to Seattle on business before, but I'd love to go back and check out the scenery. I hear it's beautiful...
