Exactly! When my son rolls his eyes at me he is usually saying nonverbally that "I'm stupid", or that "I just don't get it". And this means it makes me mad when he :roll: rolls his eyes at me.

I've always seen it used in sarcasm. Like: "Good grief" (rolling eyes skyward).
Or: "How big of an idiot can you possibly be???"
