Seriously though, I've been on the "Don't Panic" statement end of the phone. It sucks cause you just know there's nothing you can say to keep the person answering from panicking.

I know, the red eye fix does not work on pets and I am not advanced enough to fix them. :shock:

I've tried, it's not worth the effort. At least it's not the creepy devil red our cats get.

It is so funny seeing SoWal, Florida residents complain about our winter where average temps are in low 60s.. especially in this discussion with our northern friends getting hammered with nearly record snow accumulation. I assume the temp is about 30?

we are in for a few colder days for the remainder of the week - today is a bit colder with the high 54, low 34. we'll dip down to high 49/low 32 on Thurs and Fri. cold enough for a fire and a pot of stew!

ya'll northern friends need to stay warm and safe!!! keep us posted please. (minnie - we consider you northern for the sake of weather reporting).

Thanks everyone, hubbie is going to survive, they gave him plenty of pain medication. The snow left almost as quickly as it came, because it got to 33 and starting raining. So now its just an ugly messy slush.

Drama for today, our hot water heater busted.

I am seriously thinking about changing my user name to Eeyore.

I am just so glad the Saints won, so the week was not a total wash out.

Exactly, I was amazed at how expensive it is to have a hot water heater installed, should have talked my child into being a plumber. :funn:

I could have taken all that money spent on college and bought me a very nice beach house.
