So they are automatically whores? I have seen whores walking the streets here in Memphis, see them every day while driving to work and they sure don't look anything like that! She definitely does not fit that description but whatever! :roll: Like Aggie said, I'm sure every college has them, but nothing is mentioned about the goings on with these girls at the other SEC schools, just Tennessee. How ironic that everyone is always trying to dig up dirt on Tennessee to get them in trouble with the NCAA. Obviously people fear the Vols and Lane Kiffin now.

What is wrong with trying to emphasize the student in student-athlete? Bearing in mind a college athlete has a 7% chance of going pro.

This is a true story my dad told me. We'll call him Papa Lucifer. Back during the depression young Papa Lucifer and his mother Granny Lucifer were taking the train across town. Also on the train was a prostitute. Papa Lucifer made some snide remark about her to Granny Lucifer. Granny was furious and almost slapped the shiiite out of him right then and there. She said these women are human beings and they're just trying to make a living and if he ever made a remark like that again she'd throw him out of the house. I'm not sure what this says. I guess in my family we like prostitutes?? Whatever, it's a good story.

It shouldn't matter who does what. If there is more than one school doing this, then perhaps if they are going to investigate my beloved vols, then perhaps they should investigate all schools who are doing this. Sounds fair, eye for an eye hey mate!! Besides, if you are going to throw one college under the bus for doing it, then you have to throw them all under the bus. That makes more sense to me, otherwise its best to let it be & go find something else to do. You can't single out one school for doing it if you aren't going to single them all out.

I certainly expect them to investigate any school acting in this way - but so far it seems that this school went a little further than the others and that is the reason for the investigation.

I believe Granny Lucifer was a realist - but don't think you can compare the plight of the pictured Tennessee FB hostess and a woman trying to survive during the Great Depression. One's a whore and one has sex for money. :roll:
