google maps downloaded onto your blackberry. (it's free) then use the hybrid view. GPS works fairly well for traveling, better in places with more cell towers.

I have a Blackberry Perl. Screen is too small.

well you can enlarge it by pressing "3"

decrease size by pressing "1"

"0" will take you to your current position.

menu button will allow you to search by typing what you are looking for. eg- in search, type "pizza" and all the pizza joints around you will appear on the map. You can add the zipcode if you want (ie- "pizza 32459"). You can cursor over the icon for each pizza joint and see phone number, website, reviews, read reviews, get directions, one click call to order the pizza, etc. It is super cool and its freakin' free! You also need to download the "trapster" app, which will warn you when you approach speeding traps that other users have reported.
