My nickname is Tootsie. My grandfather gave it to me when I was born! My real name is Mary Teresa, so other nicknames from various friends and family are:

Mary Tootsie
Mary (with a long "a" - kind of a southern thing)
Sister Mary Teresa
Mother Mary Teresa
Tree

I don't care what people call me as long as they call me!

My brother still calls me Bean, I'm not exactly a beanpole anymore but I think it's kind of sweet. I have a name that can't be shortened (Tina) and named my daughter a long name so she can have a nickname if she wants. Samantha- I call her Sam her friends call her Sammi.

Love Sam or Sammi for a girl nickname!
