I went to a viking ship museum in Stockholm and found the rivalry between Sweden and Norway interesting. When the king of Sweden heard the king of Norway had just built a ship taller than the one he was just completing he ordered another deck added. It launched and promptly rolled over and sank to the bottom of the harbor. Game over.

Thanks to being stationed, for 3 tours totaling 9 1/2 years, in different parts of Germany, I've seen almost all of Europe. I've also been to Turkey and what was then Czechoslovakia. I've never been east though. I'd love to see Japan and China.

New favorite towns that have replaced Sopchoppy, Yeehaw Junction and just up the turnpike Okahumpka. Still need to hit dogtown and two eggs though, could sway my opinion.
