I know girl...we have discussed this many times....;-) It is hard for him to accept just friends, and with all he has, and is still going through..more knee problems.... , I can't dessert him, so I stay in his life, and try to make it work the way I need it to.... He knows where we stand...but yes, it is stressful sometimes.

You are sooo right Toots but I do understand. Ali has a kind heart and that's how we can be manipulated (not that you don't, of course but you know what I mean). In your words, sometimes we're p***ies . I fear that I may have a similiar situation coming up. No involvement or history really, just basically the possibility of telling somone that it's a "just friends" thing and I might need to search for the way if that happens because I hate to hurt anyone.

But I KNOW that you're right and we do need to control the situation and not allow our emotions to put us in a bad situation just because we feel bad for someone.

We love her and are here for Ali and somehow I just know that when the time is right she's gonna make her move and feel right about it. It's such a hard thing. I'm praying too that she doesn't get sucked into anything long term cause I have a feeling that it's just not right.

Just another reason that we need to get her down here to sowal So her sistas can take care of her or KIDNAP her if necessary :rofl:

It is not so complicated now....the way in which we came to this point, and our history, is very complicated....as you well know! I realize my responsibility to myself...but just like with Mike...it is going to take some time to help him come to the point that I can step away with no one hurt...or the least amount of damage if nothing else.
