Oh, my goodness! The service started at noon EST. Still going on after 3.5 hours. It's a beautiful service that takes me back to my Baptist roots. The music is beautiful, and the reality of life (and its end) has been explained with joyfulness, not sadness.
Of course, even when our previous dog died, I totally flipped out. So when death hits home, it's more difficult for me to accept than what seems joyful at Whitney Houston's service.
EDIT: If I were in Whitney Houston's family, I would be really angry. There are incredibly many people trying to get fame from this service. It is just disgusting. If I were Whitney's mom, I would go up to Dionne and stop it all. It must be excruciatingly painful for Bobbi Kristina. Please shut it down for this young woman's benefit.
