Creme brulee is the favorite dessert of a relative of mine who is in town. Shades at the Loop used to have it and it was really good but no longer. Would appreciate any suggestions. Thanks, Dotty

I don't think I've ever had bad creme brulee either! But my favorite is at Big City Bistro in Fort Walton Beach. They have a black and white (chocolate and vanilla) creme brulee that is very very good, reasonably priced and not too sweet (my main problem with some). But then I've loved everything I've had there.

Funny you should mention too sweet. I was just thinking that probably the only way you could mess up creme brulee would be to make it a little bit or a lot too sweet. I appreciate the info! And could someone tell me what the way is to make the thanks appear at the end of someone else's post. Couldn't find it in the FAQs.

But maybe my computer is different, when I put my cursor on that symbol at the bottom right of the post, it says "blog this post," nothing about thanks. The thanks doesn't have something to do with the "add to ___'s reputation" at the top of the posts, does it? Anyhoo, thanks to everyone who has responded to my question.
