Just got back from dinner at Nicks...absolute heaven. :clap::clap::clap::clap:
 
The shrimp at Nick's in Basin Bayou is the BEST! So glad it is just 4 miles from the house. Just have to survive without them on Mondays.
 
I like Jambone's fried shrimp...great batter and always perfectly cooked.

Yes, Jambone has really good fried shrimp! I don't immediately think of it as a seafood place. Their shrimp is more of a tempura style than southern fried. The squid salad is nice also.
