Who Wears Socks At The Beach?

Engineers.

My husband, Bdarg, is an engineer in his "real" life, and he said I needed to tell y'all that engineers would only wear BLACK socks, not white.

BTW- he doesn't wear a pocket protector. He's a cool engineer.

Good grief- someone yank this keyboard out of my hands before I do some serious damage! I have headlined 3 forums now- and I have managed to do this with 3 family members talking to me! I guess the good part of all this is I have learned to multi- task!

I was thinking the other day what a blessing it was I only have a dog to feed...I can hear the kids now..."Mom, where's dinner, I'm starving?" "Mom I haven't had clean socks in a week!" "Mom, I need the computer to apply to college!!!" Ahhhh....Empty Nest, it's my turn!!! jdarg...have you thought about getting a blackberry? Run that by cck before you do!!!

Bdarg the engineer husband says the "guy" in the thong might be a sumo wrestler. (The "guy" sounds like a "Friends" episode)

My son thinks he may be Fat Bastard from Austin Powers Goldmember. I think we can agree that it is NOT Goldmember.

You know, Kathy has way bigger nads than I do because I wanted to post that exact same photo from an email I received a few weeks ago, but didn't dare cause I was so grossed out that i figured it would seriously offend sowal members! I mean, it's horrid! But I'm glad she did cause I wanted to but wasn't nearly as brave... I thought it would be agin the rules. But after the "cake" thread, I guess we're getting just a tad more brazen... next time I shall POST it and dam the consequences!

My husband is an engineer, too. He's a retired one, who does wear white socks...for bicycling. The khakis (if they belong to our guy) are a second clue. After we enlarged this unfortunate photo, my guy says the thong definitely takes the engineering profession out of consideration!
