Who will reveal their plans for Halloween?

New posts
Gidget: If you are in the area, you should definitely participate in the Witches Ride on Friday morning. http://www.sowal.com/bb/events-activities/41727-south-walton-witches-ride.html

My sister is also a "real" witch, born on Halloween! She is one year ahead of you in age, and she was, by far, the most witchy witch last year at the ride. Here is a picture of her from last year. Come out and join the witches and get a one-day jump on your birthday!

WOW - fantastic witch costume!!
Thanks so much for telling me about this. I plan on doing this next year when we are actually in our house and living out there. Is it always the Friday prior to Halloween? Trying to figure out how long the bike ride is. I know where Miss Lucille's is but I am not familiar with Butler/ECMS - however, I do know where Red Bar is ;-). I think this would be a blast and I am already thinking of a theme.....

Thanks again for the info!

PS HAVE FUN MINNIE IN NO!

Ok hands down no one does Halloween like New Orleans, My eyeballs are scarred for life :floor:

I went as a soceress, had a really cool hat with silver stars, moons, flaming stars. Dressed in all black with a flowing tunic coat and purple accent, ghost earrings.

Had dinner with my daughter, her college roommate and her fiance at Court of Two Sisters. It was delicious, had their house ceasar salad, fresh dressing prepared at your table, crabmeat au gratin and bananas foster. Yummy. Others had seafood gumbo, oysters, catfish, pecan pie, bread pudding, we all shared and sampled. The best asparagus I have ever had.

Some of the most unique costumes ever, including the walking mamogram machine. :funn:

Saw way too many tatas that did not need to be shown, and some OMBs that definitely needed to be covered. Saw some husbands getting smacked for oogling the sexy halloween costumes.

I stayed in the Garden District on St. Charles and rode the streetcar back to the hotel, left the kids in the Quarter, and that might have been one of the highlights of the night. It was a party on rails.

My balcony overlooks St. Charles and I can watch the show from the comfort of my suite, with my beverage of choice and my PJs and dream fun Halloween dreams in my comfy bed while sounds of the streetcars come and go.

It was definitely an experience.

omc minnie - you must have had the very best halloween ever!!! I want to do all that next year!!!!!

however, you must know by now that your post is absolutely worthless without pix!!!

OMG! Minnie, what a fun time!

But you know, as former students at Tulane, we had so many fun times that we don't remember Halloween as being any different than any other weeknight in New Orleans. Laissez les bon temps rouler.

What did I do on Halloween? Drove Pepper to a groomer in midtown Atlanta who specializes in grooming standard poodle show dogs, burned some plastic at Neiman's, took daughter and her fabulous fianc? to lunch at Houston's, returned home with the beautiful Miss Pepper, and watched the Gators kill UGA. Great day! Pepper looks gorgeous!

This sounds like so much fun!! I'm sure my son was on one of the street cars at some point during the night! Who knows, you could've crossed paths. Glad you had a great time. You dinner sounds divine.

P.S. Be sure to let me know what you thought of the hotel... in case I want to stay there next time.

Just saw this on a TV commercial and had to google it. High-larious!
