Who will win Florida Governor's race?

New posts
I always love the conservative rebuttal: "mistakes were made on both sides". Explain to me what progressive mistake was made that was as big as the invasion of Iraq. Explain to me what progressive mistake was made that was as big as the Financial Collapse of 2008.

The financial crisis is a little more complex than Bush's "tax cuts for the rich" and other inane explanations. All rich people take advantage of loopholes in the tax code. Frankly, I'd like to see John Kerry's tax returns. I understand that former representative Allen Boyd milked the farm program for all it was worth.

I always love how the left conveniently forgets what led to the invasion of Iraq, which BTW, I have stated many times I was against, but understand why it happened. Colin Powell spent a long period of time on national TV showing how the Iraq government had weapons of mass destruction. His message of the the occurrence may have been in error but it was readily accepted by Congress and others. It would be nice if the liberals around here would acknowledge the fact that it was not only the Republicans that voted for the invasion. It was both parties. As far as the collapse of 2008 is concerned, Freddie Mac and Fanny Mae, along with flawed banking policies is certainly as much to blame as any governmental issues. But then, rationality is not the strong suit of most of the liberals who post here.

I could fault the Democrats for voting for the invasion, but The president is the commander in chief. He spearheaded it. He and President de facto Dick Cheney and the neocons really pushed it. If not for them , it never would have happened. I think it's fair to say they mislead the American public. I also think it's likely some Democrats and Republicans voted for it out of fear of going against popular opinion. The media really sold this on the gullible American public who were too misinformed to realize that Iraq was an Islamic nation with a secular form of government. After 9/11 they were all geared up to "glass some towelheads", and the administration did nothing to discourage this way of thinking. You were either with them or you were against them. Shameful.

Ah yes. O.J. was charged with killing two white people. How many white people rioted, looted, and burned property when that verdict came down?
Right or wrong African Americans mostly riot over perceived social injustice. White people riot for the dumbest of all reasons, sports and drunkenness.

This is precisely my sentiments. All the previous two posts did is reiterate the same old slogan: the Dems are just as bad as the Reps. It simply isn't so. The war was initiated, and more importantly, ineptly executed by the Neocons. They used slogans like "cakewalk", "the oil revenues will pay for the war", "mission accomplished", "deficits don't matter". Pallet loads of cash were thrown away. The results: three trillion dollars more debt, and the rise of ISIS and a nuclear armed Iran.

I'm sorry, but what does the OJ verdict have to do with the Florida Governors race?.

Nothing, just like Ferguson,
the Iraq War,
the Financial Crisis of 2008,
and the Citizens United decision in the Supreme Court
perceived gerrymandering,
false accusations of voter suppression (two s)
and demanding you address completely irrelevant issues to the recent election.

They lost, in fact they got their asses kicked, so now in typical fashion everything
about the loss is spun into a ridiculous flak screen to pretend they didn't notice...

It was an extremely appropriate analogy, and I just got through explaining the reasoning behind it very clearly. Your anger is taking hold of you and causing you to lash out with a barrage of non-sequiturs. I'll state it one more time. Acquittal doesn't necessarily exonerate someone. I've always considered conservatives generally to be impaired when it comes to understanding analogies. Youre response is a prime example. I find it impossible to take your post seriously. Please tell me those aren't your actual thought processes and that you're in fact messing with me just to get a reaction. If that's the way you really think, then that is very frightening.

Thank you so much for your comments. I feel honored by your disapproval.

Actually I didn't notice. As a beneficiary of the booming economy, let's just say I'm a little preoccupuied.

what's been your best investment sector in the last 6 months?

and since you claim it preoccupies you, are you day trading?

You sure like to ask me a lot of personal questions don't you? How many times have you banged your wife in the last year?
