Why do you wake up each day?

New posts
Not to be Debbie Downer but today I went to a funeral of a church friend's mom. She died last week of a brain anuerism. She was 50 years old! It was shocking to see someone not far from my age in a casket. She looked so young. Her daughter is 30 and is married with 2 great kids. Jen says she doesn't know how she's gonna live without her mom. It is so sad but really makes me grateful for the family I have. My Mom is doing better and she's even planning a trip here for Christmas. PTL :) Live every day like it's you last.

That is so, so sad. And scary. I've been going to bed each night wondering if I will wake up the next day! Not sure what that's all about but I'm sure happy & thankful when morning arrives!

  Cam is the lucky one!
Beach Jacket is like Cam -- a miracle baby. I was told that it was impossible for me to get pregnant, and then when I did, I went into labor at 26 weeks, which then was unviable. I was hospitalized on yutopar for two months with complete bedrest. Thank God for her.
I'm so slow. I just realized who BJ was. I wondered but had not done any research. She's a doll!
Thanks! I think so, too!

God bless you BR. I was on bed rest for a week and just about went crazy. When I had Liv, I got severe pre-e and HELPP syndrome in my 7th month. When they decided to take her via emergent c, my platelette count was below 20,000. Normally a persons is around 300,000, which means I lacked the ability to clot. My liver was shutting down and I was in sever danger of seizure. They prepared Liv'sdad for the worst. I could have had brain damage or died. But I came through it. (I already had brain damage). She was only 4 lbs, but otherwise perfectly healthy. I wake up each day to see the little girl that I almost had to give it all up for and the man who supports us and takes care of us everyday. Boy do I have a reason to wake up. Wouldn't change any of it for anything.

One of my favorite things to do is to go to sleep. So I wake up each day so that I can go to sleep later. This could be a problem for people who sleepwalk as they are up but not really awake which delays the "wake up" process. Sleepwalkers have to go back to bed to wake up so they can walk fully awake which seems a bit redundant. The question that also arises is "Can people who love to wake up get along with people who love to go to sleep." Its kind of a chicken and egg thing.

Let me throw a wrench into the works. I love to wake up and then go back to sleep for a nap and then by 7:30 I am ready for little one to go to bed so I can be in bed by 8:00. I don't know which I enjoy more, going to sleep or waking up.

You are a bi-bedder.
