Not to be Debbie Downer but today I went to a funeral of a church friend's mom. She died last week of a brain anuerism. She was 50 years old! It was shocking to see someone not far from my age in a casket. She looked so young. Her daughter is 30 and is married with 2 great kids. Jen says she doesn't know how she's gonna live without her mom. It is so sad but really makes me grateful for the family I have. My Mom is doing better and she's even planning a trip here for Christmas. PTL :) Live every day like it's you last.

so sorry to hear about your friend's mom. i get scared every time i think about something happening to my parents, i can't even begin to prepare myself. and i can't even think about something happen to my sis. if she should go before me, i would have to go to be with her.

glad to hear your mom is planning a visit. we are hoping to bring my parents when we go to sowal in april next year. and i agree, live every day like it's the last, it may very well be....

Oh my .....I can not even begin to think of what you went through...but little Miss Beach Jacket was meant to be!!! that much is certain! :lolabove:

Sorry you had a sad day OL, but I'm glad you mom is doing much better.
