Worst call of the year

This is a tangent, but did any of you watch the GA Tech game yesterday?

You know how at football games when there's some time to kill and the camera men do a close-up of a good-looking female? THEY DID THAT TO ME YESTERDAY AT THE GEORGIA TECH GAME ON NATIONAL TV! I was sitting in the stands with a tank top on (removed my jacket because it was almost 80 degrees), and I suppose that since I had on jeans and my wrinkles were covered by sunglasses, they thought I was a college student.

I don't mean to brag - there must have been a lot of bad-looking females in the stands if they focused on me. I'm in my fifties.

:floor:

Would this be the worst call of the year?

Exactly!

BTW many of my friends have contacted me and said they saw me on TV. I guess I looked HOTTTTT! Hell, I was hot - you over-50 women know about those hot flashes! :floor:

FBB - I can't believe it wasn't on TV in the ATL! Bummer!

Wow, You're really lucky.

I had a great pair of tickets on the 50yd line, East Stands, Upper Deck and a family illness kept me from attending.

I was really disappointed to miss it, since there was absolutely NO television coverage of the game and I had to listen to it on 790 am in Atlanta.

You're correct. I couldn't even get radio coverage and there was no national television coverage of the Wake Forest game.

So how did these people see me on TV if it wasn't on TV? My husband said that the game was supposed to be on ESPN2, but he was playing in a charity golf event, so he missed it all. I went to the game by myself - tried to get my daughter to go with me, but the only spectator sport she likes is MIT water polo. You know, those beautiful swimmers' bodies. And they have been known to slam Harvard with a loss (her avatar says, "Harvard Sucks!").

Call someone at MIT or Harvard and see if they can figure out how you were seen on TV at a non-televised football game! Or else, get some glasses for your friends! This is a mystery!

The excessive celebration call against Vandy at the end of the game. What was that? Comments???? Kurt???

I couldn't see it from where I was sitting but the refs in the SEC are very tight on that. It was probably bogus. I'm glad it went in to overtime but I am still tired.

OK, so here's the deal. I emailed the ones who saw me. They all just happened to be at the game and saw me on a TV screen AT THE GAME - an in-house broadcast. I had heard that they had not planned to go to the game, so when they said they saw me on TV, I assumed they meant at home.

They said they saw me another time when Buzz came over to sit in my lap, and I gave him a Gator chomp (just to be silly, no mean intent on my part, which he understood - I was enjoying the game). He tossled my hair to get back at me - LOL.

I'm so mad I missed that game. OT stresses me out. Who else does FL have other than FSU left to play?

I think I'm putting the FL game on my next year to do list.
