Would you vote for Morning Joe?

From The Hill....

MSNBC host Joe Scarborough on Friday said Sen. John Cornyn (R-Texas) has asked him about running against Sen. Bill Nelson (D-Fla.) in 2012.

Scarborough said in an interview with The Hill, "John suggested last month that I consider running for the Senate against Bill Nelson. His intent was clear and unambiguous and echoed his quotes in The Hill. However, I love the job I have and have no intention of running for the Senate."

After GOP denials, Scarborough says he was courted for Senate - The Hill's Ballot Box

Since Joe seems pretty clear about the fact that he has no interest, and the Republicans say him being a candidate in FL "stretches the bounds of credulity" why does it matter?

YES. For Senator or in a ticket as VP with Blumberg as Prez. This leftist Democrat absolutley loves and appreciates Joe Scarbrough's rational and sober mindset. ( He is a Conservative Republican? I guess I need to stop stereotyping Republicans)

I just wouldn't want to be his office assistant.

You forget that the GOP in Florida is a top down organization. Granted Scott bucked that trend, but it cost him a bucket of money. Keep in mind that there is a slew of GOP darlings about to term out and they need something to do.

Mr. Patronis goes to Washington?

I just wouldn't want to be his office assistant.

I think he needs to stay right where he is. His time for elected office has passed; and I don't think he wants to revisit that episode of his life; he is making a difference on cable TV
