I'm truly old school and know nothing about the XBox or video games or players- I haven't played a video game since Space Invaders and Frogger 25 years ago.
However I know what they are from seeing them on the news. I went on to Eglin AFB the other day and they had stacks of them they were trying to sell in the $300 range. But everyone there was looking for this "wii" thing. Some guy asked me if they had "Wii" and I thought he said "weed" and told him not only did I not smoke, but he had a lot of nerve asking for such on a military installation.
I have so become my dad. I'm an official old fart!
Meanwhile....
I asked the clerk about these new blue ray videos and what that was all about. He told me about the new disc coming out. You'll have to get a new "Blue ray" dvd player as you will be able to play your old dvds on it, but can't play the Blue Ray on your existing dvd players.
But he said the Blue Ray dvd players would cost around $8-900 dollars. Therefore, we'd be better off buying X-Boxes which will play the Blue Ray, for only $300, even if we don't play video games, we can watch the blue ray movies.
Unfortunately I don't know enuff about what was said to know if he was pulling my leg or not. But if it is true, you could use it as a selling point to try to sell your Xbox thingie.
