I suspect I know and wouldn't wish it on any of our elected officials. I wonder what would have happened had the rioters, in the agitated state they were in, would have done had they captured some of the legislators or their staff? Wonder even more, had they found and tried to access where VP Pence was located how many would have died and what the acceptable death toll would have been before accepting defeat? Although only one rioter was shot by Capitol Police it did seem to slow the pace at that door. Initially, I was on the fence about how I felt about Police actions there but after some of the stories I have heard I do believe the actions by LEO'S was justified and reasonable. I also believe that about what occurs in our cities across the United States, I also believe there is a difference with overwhelming force in the streets vs in a building with lots of bottlenecks.
