He's the man. 
He left UF a year early to go pro but he had promised his mom in Pcola that he would get his degree. He went back after several years with the Cowboys and took classes in the offseason and finally earned his degree for his mother. After he had earned many millions and bought her a new house and car.

He's a class act for sure. I think I posted that's when I really fell in love with him--when he went back for his degree. He seems just like such a genuine person.....

This is sad. Obviously this was a popularity contest. Popularity over merit. If you really answer honestly....who was the better dancer? Anyone that would pick Emmitt as the better dancer doesn't know squat about dancing and doesn't give merit where it's deserved. He was judged on "he dances good for a football player" while Mario was judged against different and more demanding standards.
Thank God my kids have a popular teacher. :roll:

I believe this is where a reputation comes into play. Emmit is a very well liked person. Mario was a better dancer but his rep stinks.
