Yannis on Fire

New posts
The fire was in fact started by the sign that was removed earlier that day. The timer that turns the light on at night was not tested...therefore it kicked on and the wires caught just the pillar on fire..very minor. The interior of the building is fine. The only damage was to the pillar on the outside of the building.

Good news. Thanks

Yep - it was an interior fire with little evidence outside except some soffit and fascia missing. It looked like all the Yianni's equipment was still in the building.

The businesses in the same building are open today.

This does not seem to jive with WCCOP's response. Our sources should be accurate, right Kurt?

Thanks, I am sure your source wouldn't let you down. Mine-an SWFD spokesperson that told me there was no interior fire as mentioned previously.

Any fire inside the structure is a inside fire. The wires and timer burned on the inside of the buliding so that makes it a inside fire. This is not the first time a fire has happened there with the sign involved. There was one there about 4-5 years ago. Back when the Seagrove station was in the trailer behind their current station and it was early morning. The cause of that was the sign transformer shorted out in the rain.

Is there some of test we can use to decide if our sources are accurate? If not, I guess we could just post what we know is fact.
