From what I heard the minivan brought him to a dead stop and the hood of the vette came to rest some distance from the rest of it. I also heard the dad of the little girl was going 90 to nothing after him on the little bike.

I just heard about an accident yesterday about 6/7pm. Involving a newer Corvette and minivan in front of Angelinas? Someone told me the 'vette passed a line of cars waiting for a little girl on a bike to cross the street at the walkover @ Tom Thumb, almost hitting her, then shifted gears gunned it just to run into the back of the minivan.

OMG! I hope this wasn't my daughter who was given a minivan rental 2 days ago while insurance is deciding what to do with her Honda Pilot, that was rear-ended down by Deer Park last Saturday.

Yesterday I was stopped behind another car close to Santa Rosa Beach Club where a lady was crossing, but she barely made it when a car coming in the other lane barreled through without stopping, making the lady have to run for her life the last few steps to the other side.

I've come to the conclusion that even if you have the right of way it's much safer to just wait till all is clear. I don't care who blows their horn behind me!
