Dinner was fantastic! We arrived at the W Hotel early to have a cocktail at the Ghostbar only to find out it doesn't open until 8 pm. Great people/boob watching. Had two strong drinks in the "Living Room" bar. 1. Summer Buck...gin, gingerale and mango 2. lemongrass mojito...I was lit. I really suck at drinking.
Craft is a funn place. The menu is broken down into sections and our table ordered 4 different items from each group and then it is served family style. For appetizers/salad, we had lump crab, beet salad, heirloom tomatoes and (bleech) foie gras. Dinner...SCALLOPS, duck, kobe skirt steak and Alaskan halibut. Simply delicious! Dessert...chocolate chip cookies, vanilla bean and brittle ice cream. I drank some champagne with dinner.
As we were leaving, the line to get into the Ghostbar was long and full of young people. We decided not to stand in the line and get sent home because of our age.
