Oh great...maybe we can get some professional help! I know I could use some!!!

It is hard to outsmart a smart dog. I had an Australian Cattle Dog- he knew what I was going to do before I did it. For 16 years that dog aniticipated my every move. We thought about sending him to MIT (KIDDING BR!!!!)....

Anyway, you won't be able to make her dumber. Maybe you can train her to actually sit on the potty!!

hee hee hee...I actually thought about that! Have you seen the potty training seat for cats?

Love the story of your ACdog....like I say..."My dog is smarter than your Honor Student!"

Our new dog is very smart and has already learned several tricks (which for now make up for his shortcomings- more about those later). But our old dog was WISE- he was an "old soul".

We got our Corgi at 1 yr. old (Well trained by someone else :clap_1: )

She used their back yard to go to bathroom. (They seldom walked her.) We started walking her a lot - showing her off! :D She got use to doing her job on our walks and yes we always pick it up!

The problem is she will not go in OUR back yard. We are stuck having to walk her, which isn't always convenient. :bang: Guess we unknowingly retrained her.

She's wonderful though.

Dogs are morons.

Takes one to know one.

BTW...I must confess that I will not be reading the thread about the lost puppy. Can't go there.

When my son was little if I went to the bathroom and shut the door, he would want to come in. I would tell him, "I'll be out in a minute." He would promptly lie down on the floor and put his fingers under the bathroom door so I could see them. We now have a dog (Boston Terrier ) and when I go to the bathroom and shut the door he sticks his paws under the door until I come out. I kid you not! I don't know what I did to raise such needy males. :bang:
