Very cool. When you find (discover) something like that, it makes you wonder where it came from and what is the story behind that find. :clap_1: :clap_1: If it is authentic (have no reason to think it is not), then that is way cool.

Welcome to starting your own thread. :welcome:

Maybe made out of quartz? Really cool...I get excited about these things too. Beach treasure hunting is my favorite thing to do! Can't wait to see the picture!

Cute avatar Luvthebeach! We are working on costumes for this year...11 yr old daughter wants to be a lawyer and carry a briefcase for her candy. ?? I told my son he should be a prisoner but he wouln't go for it. He always wants to be something cool and scary.

Lots of Native Americans used to live around here. They had plenty to eat, including the same fish we enjoy. The arrowhead has probably been buried for a long time and brought to the surface by the storms.

They loved oysters BTW. There are great mounds of oyster shells all around the bay, which was full of oysters like Appalachicola before East Pass and the Intracoastal were opened, which drastically changed the salinity level and ecosystem of the bay, killing off the oysters.
