Also note, Roe vs. Wade and various follow up rulings do not make abortion in all cases legal in this country. Beyond the point of viability states still have the right to abrogate it's use. There are some common misconceptions about this.

I didn't say most Americans liked abortion or wanted them offered at the corner drug store, I said they DISLIKED them, but didn't think the government should be making women's medical decisions for them.

If you want to reduce the number of abortions occurring, they are far better ways to do so than by making them illegal or cutting funding for health clinics that on occasion perform the procedure. Easily available contraception and teaching sex ed go a long way.

I was simply correcting you in that this is not necessarily the case, depending on the situation. I'm not picking sides.
