Yucky weather

New posts
silly, ad hoc liberal rules of discussion.

post nothing conclusive of your own, and then sit back and demand
others who disagree with your vague conjecture suddenly be scientists who you accept

Clever, so by posting anything that disagrees with your "establishment theory" I am now supposed to become a climate scientist?

Post all your own personal peer reviewed research papers and then you may demand I publish that which you can simply google

the "we all know it's true so you have to prove otherwise" is exactly what the article is about.

simply taking money from rich countries and rich families can't change the weather, no matter how many liberals knowingly smirk to each other about it

I just asked you a simple question and you went all high order. Please explain this homogenisation thing and what's wrong with it. I don't have any strong opinions on global warming and knowledge of methods used to gather data, so don't go making assumptions. The only assumption I made is that if if a person is going to post something about homogenisation, he would have some knowledge of it. Do you? To be fair, my climatologist remark was out of line.

You post something as vague, non committal and specious as
"ask the people in Australia about this alleged global cooling"
and when I post something that isn't part or your, and AlGore's ,
world view suddenly you start making demands....

how about this, post everyone in Australia's opinion you allude
to, then you may demand I post the footnotes of the opposing view

otherwise you make gigantic leaps in established science simply to suit your own opinion

Apparently you got a little too literal and didn't get the reference. The discussion was centered on how cold it is in the northern hemisphere this time of year. For some reason someone always points out an unusually cold winter debunks global warming. So I pick out some southern hemisphere country where it's approaching summer and probably not so cold at this time of year. So in other words psst! Maybe winter in North America isn't the best time to consider writing off the possibility of global warming. Do you get it now?

It's kind of Balmy today IMO. I wonder what would happen if I homogenised.

All I do know is that it is 18 degrees and with the wind feels like it is minus 17 degrees. Now that's cold for the middle of November. I remember last year hoping it would snow for Christmas and that is still 6 weeks away.

I was born and raised in Florida; I went to Cleveland once. It was 108 degrees at the airport when I arrived. I haven't been back, since I can get more than comfortably warm right here at home. I'm sure that 18 degrees, or minus 17 degrees (either way) won't sway me to visit any time sooner........ But, I do see why Clevelanders (or most northerners) would want to fly south for the winter....just not sure why they ever want to go back!!

I guess the simple answer would be, because it's their home.
