Welcome "Beach Jacket" to the board!

To Hell with Georgia!! I started off at MIT, but it was too far away, too cold, and the people were flippin' weird. I missed the south, and southern boys.

When I was looking at law schools I went to visit Harvard my senior year in 2004, the people there were weird too. That school is much harder to get into than Georgia Law of course, but much more easier in terms of grading--pass/fail.

No, I haven't heard of them, but IMO, they still have nothing on the big red Cocks of South Carolina.

So :welcome: Beach Jacket. We hear that you like hip hop in the ATL (Beach Runner swears that the ATL is not Hartsfeild International Airport). :idontno:

Yup, I like rap/hip-hop. There's a recording studio right down the street from where I live, and I've seen so many famous rappers going in and out of there. It's pretty cool. :)

Probably the most hilarious mascot I've ever heard of is from some minor league baseball team in San Antonio. The mascot is named Henry the Puffy Taco. I kid you not.
No. This is worse. Remember my "older" student who transferred from Whitman College on the West Coast whose mascot is the "Fighting Missionaries"? WTF is a fighting missionary?:idontno:

Hey, BJ (OOPS! Didn't think about the abbreviation!:floor: ), show bsmart your "Harvard Sucks" 'tar!

Actually only your first semester is pass/fail. My GPA was better at MIT than is is here at GT. At MIT, everything is more "if you understand the material, you'll do well." GT is all about a crapton of schoolwork. :(

Alright, beach jacket gets a prize for being a member for only one day and already working her way up from beach crab to beach tourists. To collect your prize, just write your name and mailing address on the back of a twenty dollar bill and send it to me. Of course, please also include an extra $4.95 for shipping and handling.

I'm totally on it.

Hehe. I'm pretty worthless when it comes to football. "They're running, they're running..... and they all fell down." :)
Yeah, that's what she said when we were forced to go to the wedding of a good friend's child during a UF/LSU game. UF was supposed to win the national championship that year, so we had no doubt that the Gators would win. Then we heard that LSU was winning. We called Beach Jacket and asked her to turn on the channel that the game was on and tell us what was happening. All she could say was, "Well, someone was running with the ball, and then they all fell down." We asked who, and she had no clue. From that point on, we gave up on a play-by-play from Beach Jacket.:floor:

BR, your daughter is a gal after my own heart. That's what I think about football, too. Lot of falling down and fumbling and then starting all over again. Now give me a good game of basketball and it's a whole 'nuther story.

Beach Jacket, you are a very talented artist. I'm looking forward to seeing your avatars. I've liked all your mother's tars that you've done. :clap_1:
