big football shoulder pads and really big leg warmers on a short person:roll: . and big hair that took hours every morning. with big Birmingham-style make up. thank God I moved to Florida in the 80's and found that hair and make up are not required for walking out the door each day...

my mother still tells me I need some lipstick and blush. and my hair is too flat.

My biggest is the first day of high school. I wore a skirt and shirt that was made out of this alien? material. It changed colors??(((Good grief)))) and of course the big wide belt that was silver metallic and silver metallic shoes and my spiral permed hair in a ponytail on the top right side. god I wish I had a pic......


The Madonna look was in also she was just getting started along with mtv. How many jelly bracelets can a person put on their arm...HELLO!!!!!

Earrings that were larger than my first born. As Toots stated, BF HAIR!!!!!! The bigger the better. Shoulder pads that looked like you had forgotten to take the clothes off the hanger, before I wore them! LA gear high top tennis shoes, with multi colored laces.......

grunge- mid late 80's . Don't know if it was even called that yet, but it was big in Lexington, KY. Big old Goodwill overcoats, ratty jeans, nothing "new" looking. Made getting dressed really easy in the morning. It was the total opposite of the big hair 80's look, which I didn't do for but a minute!
