My daughter needs to sign on here. She worked for a colon/rectal surgeon when she was in college. Besides the things already mentioned here and in Skunys thread, she saw xrays revealing brooms, lightbulbs, (not such a great idea after all) telephone receivers, kitchen utensils, tool handles.. etc.

What I found amazing was the story that it was always an "accident". Someone was running and the next thing they knew this object was there. That being said, I don't have an opinion on what people find enjoying. But I take care when running in my house now.

Dr Skunky, would this be a triple glove removal?
Never make your wife angry while she's drinking a coke and PMSing.

So many things to be thankful for. I did recently fall down my stairs and I have an extra knee on my shin that wasn't there before. Thank goodness I didn't fall the other way.

Reminds me of an episode of that show about the untold stories of the ER. The show had a middle aged guy who came into the ER with a tree stuck in his @ss. I am thinking the worst and so are the doctors -- a bunch of jerks were probably molesting and torturing this guy. I kid you not about the tree. It was a small tree, about 2-3 inches in diameter, and a good two feet of it was sticking out. After taking xrays, the doctors found about another 1.5-2ft inside the man. He was in great pain. Fortunately for him, he really didn't have any internal damage like you would think. The doctors cut the tree down as much as they could on the outside, and then surgically removed the remaining part from inside his body. They got it all out and sewed the guy back up.

As it turns out, the guy was a lanscaper and was on a ladder, bending over while trimming some tall bushes. He fell backwards falling directly onto a small tree which he had just pruned. OUCH!!!
