It is what it is...

OMG - I think I have seen this commercial and it is funny.

Dangitall, today I said, "It is what it is!" There should be punitive consequences.

I can deal with all the annoying things people say, as long as they don't use little finger quotation marks!!! It is what it is and what it is, is a reason to amputate fingers!

:floor::rolling:so true DL!!!!

Bob - how do you feel about...

"I heard that..." in a rather southern/country accent.. ???

It is what it is - well its just a common expression that has become even more common these days which means I'm tired of it already. but I think its okay in terms of what it means - it isn't negative or derogatory. It is what it is.

actually, my very favorite expressions can't be posted. ha ha. seriously. (I believe we had a recent thread about our favorite bad expressions).

A few of my favorite sayings that get under Bobby J's skin are~The hell you say~ and ~That dog'll hunt~

But the one that really gets him going is ~I'm just before...~ Used in a sentence it would go like this, Hey Bobby, stop cracking those eggs while I am standing in the kitchen, I'm just before having a panic attack.

I swear the boy secretly loves it when I talk Freeport.
