Where are the people that were protesting in 1966, while I was serving my country in VietNam, now? Some are in the Executive branch and some advising it. I don't see any of them greatly affected by their political beliefs anymore than I think I would be. I don't own a weapon, though I am thinking of buying one, so I don't stockpile ammo, I don't deny the legitimacy of our President, though I think most of his policies are a road to disaster and your interpretation of massive changes to government and mine are probably much the same. Teabaggers, except for the typical fringe element attached to any political group, are citizens fed up with a non-responsive federal government and want more responsibility and funding returned to their respective states. They believe Congress is broken and run by a bunch of self centered, self serving individuals who listen to absolutely no one but their closed circle. I suggest the next time you wish to learn about the Tea Party and their positions, you go directly to the source.
You may contact Mary Brown at 520-4229 or
condomimi@AOL.com or attend a Tea Party Patriots meetin the 2nd Thursday of the month at the Coastal Library meeting room, 7:00 P.M. I plan to attend the next one as I just did my taxes and am throughly fed up with not only those but our federal government in general.
