If the MSM waits for confirmation before going full press forward why did they run the racist comments story 30 minutes after it supposedly happened? The white democrat just recanted his story that he heard the slurs after an investigation was launched. Why pretend the press is politically unbiased?

It is time for all of you, both supporters and opponents of the Tea Party Movement to to quit the caterwalling and name calling and attend the meeting tomorrow at 11Am in DeFuniak Springs. If you wish to protest the ideals and goals of the movement, there is an "open mike" segment for your use. One warning, expect to get booed but I do not believe your leg will be broken. Alpha Crab, SWGB, Arkiehawg, Poppy and any other liberals or non believers in what the Tea Party Movement is trying to do, are cordially invited to attend, and more importantly, express your opinion as to why their motives are wrong. Unfortunately, I do not expect to see a one of you at the gatering or hear you express your opinion and why you hold such, in open forum. Once again, despite the brainless rhetoric expressed in this thread by some, all will be welcome and free to express your opinions.

As you may note, jdarg, I quoted no one in particular as being "brainless". If you read the whole thread and can truthfully state there were not some "brainless" submissions, I will gladly apologize. I certainly, never at anytime in any post, mentioned Democrats as being brainless. Methinks the Tea Party Movement has struck more than one nerve.

Here are some photos you will not find in the MSM. These were taken by someone I know who attended the Boston Tea Party this week that Sarah Palin spoke at. I simply do not understand why the people with the racist signs and references to Bin laden are not removed by her.

I was thinking the same thing. If this we're a liberal protest and a far right winger was purposely trying to subvert their cause they wouldn't be able to control themselves and resort to violence.

Interesting how the MSM didn't report the attack that the occured to the Palin supporter in LA. They broke her leg, left her and her boyfriend bloody. The double standard is pathetic.

Tea Party rallies are probably the most peaceful ever. All evidence points to the opposite of what the left is claiming. The best sign I saw read "it doesn't matter what this sign reads, we will still be labeled racists". So true, so very true.

It's hitting the news, now, that this was not political in nature. It was a robber / purse snatching. They had walked into a dark area of the quarter and were attacked by several youths who knocked them down and stomped her leg breaking it in five places. The guy had his face beaten and his jaw broken.

Jindal's office has made a statement that while the woman works for him it was not a political incident.

I'm going to play devil's advocate.

At this point in the game the whole thing about the Crashtheteaparty.org group has become so widely reported that even though a few are obviously showing up I don't think that they are given much, if any, credence by anybody because how do you know if they are real or not? They were so vocal in their plans that they canceled out the result that they were shooting for. I think the perceived real tea partiers handled it well by calling them for what they were with "impostor" signs. The best way they could have handled it.

Now...let's assume that the sign wielders in your post are real...namely the Obama Bin Laden sign holder. It's not racist or terribly offensive. Do you risk pissing of the mass of people by removing somebody because of the sign? I wouldn't. That's a potential vote. It may be a batsheet crazy vote, but it's a vote. Besides, by doing that you run the risk of losing control of the rally to the crowd, and then it's game over.

BTW...the only racists signs I see are the ones that say "I'm a rich white racist..." and "Average Racist Right Wing Tea Bagger Family". Are they racist? Not even close. I think anybody with any sense would see those as crashers who didn't quite get the concept for what kind of signs they were supposed to bring to the party.
