Thank you.
I will never understand why there are not a kajillion rules around acquiring something that is used intentionally to kill.
I'll tell you why - the 4th poster in a breaking news thread about someone shooting 12 innocent people including a Congresswoman, a federal judge, and a 9 year old kid was worried that "they" would use this incident to "take away rights."
Guns, the NRA, and the related politics have nothing to do with logic or reason and everything to do with fiery rhetoric and knee jerk reactions.
ANY attempts at restrictions and common sense rules are fought tooth and nail. And felons and crazy people will continue to easily get weapons that they use to shoot many innocent people as long as that continues.
Congressmen were clamoring to be the one who got to read the 2nd Amendment Thursday. The same Congressmen hold the rest of the Constitution in such high regard that they didn't stay the entire time and hear the rest of it.
P.S. I don't hate guns, I like to shoot guns for fun, and I like to eat what my family shoots with guns. I don't want to take away
your guns, I just want to make it harder for criminals and crazy people to get guns - especially guns whose intended purpose is to easily kill many people.
