Wisconsin and Beyond: Worker Protests Spread to Other States by Sarah van Gelder and Brooke Jarvis
From Indiana to Ohio and Tennessee to Texas, workers are demanding to know why corporations and the wealthy get bailouts and tax breaks while teachers and steel workers bear the burdens of budget crises they didn?t cause.

This movement makes sense to me; much more than the Tea Party movement ever has. The regular folks in the Tea Party seem to be advocating against] their own economic interests... while these folks are standing up for their way of life and the principles that have made the American middle class...teachers, firefighters, the police force and the emergency responders...the heart and soul of our communities.

It's the two theory law:

1. Bailout/Taxbreak for the corporate/wealthy is the you scratch my back I'll scratch yours theory.

2. Middle class/bear the burden is the slave theory.

THE ONLY GOOD DEAL IS ONE IN WHICH BOTH PARTIES BENEFIT EQUALLY.
History

Can you imagine the extensive lobbying and uproar of adding equality of the financial classes to this amendment?

Tea Partiers don't support bailouts for corporations, the wealthy, or the unions. The liberals in Wisconsin are "standing up for their way of life" which to me equals a "me first" attitude. Tea partiers are putting the country and their kid's futures first, not themselves. Which group is being more selfish here?

Plus, let's not forget who bailed out the big corporations and banks back in 2009 - Nanci, Harry, and Barack. The Tea Party was against those bailouts too.

No I'm not. You seemed to imply that the Tea Party was somehow on the other side of this, fighting for higher corporate profits and corporate bailouts. I don't know where you got that idea. Really these two groups are on the same side when it comes bailouts. They just differ on how to deal with state budget issues. The unions want higher taxes and higher government debt, Tea Partiers wan't budget cuts. I don't think the Tea Party really cares where the cuts happen either.

Really, the Tea Party was born during 2008 and 2009 during the federal bailouts. Those were primarily implemeted by democrats! But you guys think the Tea Party is the bad guy for suggesting we not bailout corporations and we try to live within our means?
