In the 1940's/early 1950's, before Back Beach Road / Emerald Coast Pkwy, Sunnyside used to be a major landmark.
My parents used to tell me that, when they first moved back to Point Washington in 1948, the closest TELEPHONE was in Sunnyside.![]()
