Was officer Haney lurking in the woods by Publix on 395 S ?????.
Actually, no; He was driving in the left lane in front of the Sandestin Publix when I blew by him on the far right....:bang:
Bad, bad dog. And not only was he not sneaky, he was really very nice.

Sneaky ones hide off hwy 98 in that stretch of 45 mph around Shrimper's, both east and west bound...

Here at home, I take down tag numbers and call 911. The main drag between my house and town is 45 mph or less all the way, but there are idiots who go 70 or more, weaving in and out.

Not being picky, but there is a point of order here: 911 is for life threatening emergencies only. You really should call the sheriff's depaterment or police, as appropriate, not 911.

Hugs and kisses for helping.

That would be known as the traffic unit. Primary purpose...traffic. :floor:

:clap:You wanna start a LIST of SHOULDN'TS?!:funn:

Oh, that would be dangerous.

I completely agree with you Kurt. There is a State Trooper who pulls them over left and right. IJS, I have not seen any as of late. Today coming home from Publix was very scarey!!

I agrree with Kurt and IBD....usually will find a state trooper by the Lake Powell bridge.....SPEED TRAP!

How is it a trap if the speed limit is posted and you voluntarily go above that limit?

Drive no faster than you can afford to drive.

Being familiar with the area roads and speed limits, my speed is within 5 mph of the legal limit. However, non-locals can get tricked up on 98 with the fluctuating speed limits, especially near Shrimpers and Sacred Heart Hosp. Some cities in California post the speed limit ON the asphalt...a grayt idea! Can't miss it.

And....what is up with the spped limit change on 395 S.?? Last year I got a ticket in a 25 mph zone that was changed from 35mph. Now it's back to 35........I'd call that a speed trap! The cop was jerk about it too.

There are signs on the side of the road, and quite a few last time I remember looking. Just how much notice is it that you are suppose to give someone?

You're gonna be that old lady who sits on her porch and screams "Hey you dang kids! Get off of my lawn!!"

HA HA HA HA HA!!!!!!!

...or are you already? :rolling:
