August 5 campaign contributions

And "independent," shadow expenditures could justifiably be counted as contributions. You can see my point now, can't you? And that of Bob Wells, too? I know you don't care for me, but we can agree on some things, can we not?

If they counted as "campaign contributions " they would appear on a candidates financial reports.

Those candidates did not spend 1 dime on those ads and therefore aren't expenditures of theirs.

I understand the difference in the two.

Whatcha wanna bet T. Andersons' contributions increase again next week after the dinner they had at Borago? Rumor has it those invites were about $1,200.00 bucks a pop!

Edit...to many zeros!

That would be $720,000.

Did you mean $1,200?

I posted this information to try and generate interest in this election because truthfully I am not hearing a great deal of that from the general public. Unless you have the money to self-fund, contributions are necessary. To get your message out you must have money. I am surprised by the lack of money being raised in the Superintendents race and wonder why that race is generating so little interest. I suspect that the national race is generating so much comment and interest that there is little left for local and state races but that is just my guess.

No one cares about issues.

Voters are generally apathetic and have heads in sand, some litterly.

This election is about power and control of the almighty dollar machine that is SoWal.

One day that printing press will run out of paper and no more printing will be done.
