Well, that stinks, too!

Email me with the image attached, tell me what size you want it, and I'll send it back. I don't remember the max dimensions/KB for this board.

Honey, you need some software!

If you'd like to resize your photos on your computer, here is a link to the world's easiest picture resizer by Microsoft. Click on it, then select run, and it will install. Once installed, all you have to do is right click on any pic file on your computer, select "Resize Pictures" and it will give you several size options - it's that easy!

Gotta love those "powertoys". TweakUI is a handy little gadget too... ;-)

Also, when resizing a .jpg image, it's better to resize in increments rather than in one step, due to the compression algorithm used for jpegs. In other words, don't go directly from a 2272 by 1704 photo to 200 by whatever. Take it in incremental steps. My rule-of-thumb is resizing to 1800 by whatever (preserving the aspect ratio, of course, which is why I say "whatever"), to 1400 by whatever, to 1000 by whatever, to 600 by whatever, to 200 by whatever. The final quality of the image will be much better. I will refrain from explaining the mathematical reason why that's true. It's on the 'Net.
Good tip, and on the mark! (though high end image management tools - kurt grade stuff -will compensate for you).

Got to tell you I've developed a fondness for your "otter nose in the wind.." avatar, though the "relaxed otter" is cool too. Maybe you could straddle the fence a photoshop a brewski betwitx the current one's paws
