Windows pretty much doesn't care what characters you use in a file name, including spaces. Most web servers only allow letters, digits, and underscores (followed by a dot and the file extension, like .jpg) and definitely no spaces in file names. So if the file name of your avatar has any other characters in it other than letters, digits, and underscores, rename it, and it should upload fine (assuming it is a supported file type, is 200X200 or less, and a max of about 70 KB).
God love you BR...all that intellect is SO wasted on me!!!! I am thankful everyday for number/tech saavy people like you!!!
