When will HGTV or DIY runa show, called "F. This House" instead of "Flip This House"?

I'd like to hear the lead in ... "This week, a couple with three children from New Jersey, say F. this house, as they give their keys to their lender, and realize their 1600 foot ranch isn't near anywhere worth the 700K they were hoping it was worth, only because it used to be worth 1.2.M"

I can see the debate has clearly ended on this board already - real estate sucks is the conclusion. There is no more debate here, and that is a positive sign.

Remember SoWal peaked a bit earlier than national real estate, probably by at least 12 months.

hmmmm.

Seasoned industry types probably don't care much about price anymore, for the next few years it's about moving large volumes of inventory at bargain prices. I think everyone has pretty much figured out prices are going down and will continue to do so for quite some time to come. A rebound any time soon simply isn't in the cards, consumers have no cash, decreased leverage, and their credit is shot.

...I also predict that the mindset of "Florida Condoze as an Investment," will follow its predecessors--"Beanie Babies as an Investment" and "Pets.com as an Investment"-- straight down the crapper.

Have any Realtors in the area thought about running a Foreclosure Bus Tour yet?

YES - a foreclosure bus tour is in order -

Shel, about that investment you had in CROCS (symbol CROCS)...

got a new one fro you - (symbol DECK) I'm looking for an opinion on that from you.

Also, can you remind me why you're so guarded with your privacy?

They're already doing something like that on the more recent episodes of "My House is Worth What?"

I really like "flip this house", but it doesn't seem to fit the times. Hopefully that will change sooner than later.

I have not posted in a while and just wanted to say hello and that I am looking forward seeing better times along 30A. Is there any new development being looked at in the area?

I don't know of any new development. Just more and more properties in trouble. Posting was a lot more fun when things were booming. There are a few new homes under construction close to Seaside, though.:idontno:
