Must be nice to have you around to help with stuff like that. Quite a difference in price. I don't understand what gets into some people.

We added a porch to the house on the gulf side. We were there so why not contribute what we could. Honestly, 3 weeks work for 1 person with a profit margin of about 4,500 is not bad these days. It could be 3 workers for 1 week splitting the funds or any variant.
There were still some of the old school subs who picked the job apart, and told the owners of all the extra tasks that they would have to do before giving the price equal to the average American blue collar workers yearly salary. You can always tell the experienced subs. You just know that they have walked the walk in their field hundreds of times already. Nothing surprises them. Nothing is that big a deal. And last, they exhibit confidence.
