was i still glowing ? next time stop by and say hi ! we won't bite - unless it's lunch time !

I got back to Michigan late last night and wanted to say how much funn I had meeting so many SoWallers on Monday night (and a few others during the week I was there -- we sure are lucky to have such a fine growing community of friends). This message board has certainly been a magnet for such great people -- thanks, Kurt! Allifunn, it was great plotting this get-together with you. We missed those of you who couldn't make it, but it sounds like there will be many more of these get-togethers throughout the year whenever there are some SoWallers in the area.

Amore was a perfect place to meet -- food and service were great (I loved my caramelized onion pizza) and sitting outside on the deck up high under the lights. If we had added music and dancing, I would have thought it was a summer night in Italy during one of the many saint festivals they have during the summer. Olive, nice place!

And, Deb, Sunshine is a real sweetie. The girls loved the photo.

So glad you got home safe and sound  As you said , next time...longer!!! I look forward to seeing you again and talking more extensively! Have a great summer!! Maybe I'll see you in Florence!!

Allifunn: That would certainly be funn if our schedules had us meeting up in Florence this summer! This year we'll be back to SoWal end of June and third week of August. But next year I hope we spend two weeks at the same time, though that may be in August. But, we'll see...

Audie: I really enjoyed sitting next to you and Mr. Audie and getting to know you a little, along with InletBeachDweller and Mr. InletBeachDweller. Also enjoyed flitting from one part of the table to the other to meet Unplugged and Mrs. Unplugged, Gotothebeachmom and Mr. Gotothebeachmom, Chickpea, Kurt and Tootsie, Allifunn, Cork on the Ocean, Olive -- and watching the kids play with the fountain. I didn't get to really meet the couple at the end of the table near Kurt and Tootsie (were they Mr. and Mrs. River Otter?), but their son gave me about 3 big hugs!

Anyway, it was a great time and we missed those of you who couldn't make it!
