Commissioner Sara Comander Sick Leave

New posts
The word on the street is flat a** wrong! I suggest if you want the truth about any of this you call the source, though in this instance I would not blame her if she told you to stick it where the sun don't shine. Yes, she was scheduled to do a deposition because some idiot sued over an issue that IMO had no merit. I won't say who the idiot is, but they should know better. Sara Comander had a a very valid health issue. Some around here need to get a life!

word is she's trying to avoid the depo...

Probably because the Truth is a powerful thing and sometimes, it hurts.

When an Elected Government Official tries to deny a citizen their Constitutional Rights (documented in an Email), that is a major violation. Glad she's being sued.

As for the "idiot", I believe its "Idiots" with an "s". The Idiots are the ones that voted for the County to foot her private legal bill.

But now we get to see a free show at the depo. Money well spent.

John G, I'm not surprised at your response. Your posts usually show how little you know of what goes on in Walton County or what has transpired here before you arrived. One person's opinion based upon what I see. You are certainly entitled to your opinion and to express such just as I am doing. It is a right I, and millions of others, have served to protect.

One thing more on the filing of lawsuits. I have lived all over the United States and in foreign countries as well, and never have I seen the propensity to file lawsuits against local government and those who strive to serve the citizens of the area, that I have seen here. And no, it is not because our elected officials are worse than those who serve elsewhere. From what I have observed, it is because some constituents got their noses bent out of shape because they didn't get their way. I would also venture to guess that many have the money to pursue what I consider frivilous pursuits in order to satisfy their over inflated egos. Mistakes will always be made and local governing is no exception. But most of those mistakes can be solved without use of the legal system. It takes a lot of personal effort and compromise. Evidently, this is something many in Walton County are not capable of doing.

Or... is it possible, even plausible, that we have idiots running things and they take actions that benefit personal agendas and their friends, over that of the public and thus = Lawsuits... Just an idea.

When are you posters going to learn not to argue with the one true opinion that is simply better than yours due to superior education and life experience? A salute and a "thank you for your sacrifice sir" is all that is needed.

The "idiots running things" were elected by a majority of those voting in the county. I will suggest to you, as I have to others in the past, if you believe what you say and have better alternatives, run for office. I do not agree with your premise as far as some, actually most, of the lawsuits filed, is concerned. You are entitiled to your opinion and I to mine.
