Concealed weapon permits in Walton County

I think any time someone is killed instead of dying from natural causes it might be prevented.

I must wear a seatbelt to drive my steel cage car with multiple airbags and face criminal charges if I do so without a license, insurance, or if impaired.

A car is designed to safety transport people and/or cargo.

A gun is designed to kill.

I have never driven a car without a learner's permit or license and certified instruction and legal documents were a prerequisite.

I have fired at least 50 guns with no official instruction or oversight. As far as the government knows, I have never fired a gun.

Why is a method of transport far more heavily regulated than a method of killing?

Why is a method of transport far more heavily regulated than a method of killing? because the second amendment does not say:A well regulated road, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and drive cars, shall not be infringed. also, a gun is not a method of killing. it is simply a gun. the user of that firearm decides if it will become a deadly weapon or not, justified or otherwise.

What part of "assault" in "assault rifle" don't you understand? Is there some form of assault that causes no harm to the victim that perhaps I'm not aware of?

Btw, the second amendment does not allow for totally unregulated access to firearms. Even the most conservative SC justice Mr. Scalia has stated as much. You're dreamin' dreamer.

Call the rifle whatever you like, it doesn't know it has a name. The gun alone can't kill.
The interpretation of the second amendment continues.

I guess it's time to start running background checks on all spectators at sporting events. That would have prevented this most recent act of terrorism? You can't legislate nut jobs. If an individual is intent on causing harm then they will. Anyone with the name Lucifer should know that.

Well then I'm sure you'd be OK with "baby killer bullets" or perhaps a "Johhny School Shoot" high powered rifle. Call the rifle whatever you like, it doesn't know it has a name. The gun or bullet alone can't kill.

Nice politicization of the Boston tragedy. By your logic, a good man with two bombs could have prevented this from happening.

I'm o.k. with any ammunition because I'm responsible and accountable for my actions. This will be hard to believer but I've got hundreds of rounds that to this day have never jumped off the shelf and killed anyone.

No politics, just facts. A good man would have never done what this person did. Your starting to get it, hang in there.

your indefensible position is, fortunately an ever shrinking minority view. the second amendment was passed for citizens shouldering flintlocks. Now it protects mostly redneck ak shouldering pinheads. time is not on your side.
