We don't live in Dodge City. What gun fight are we talking about?
I see. you can get ridiculoulsy hypothetical about eating with your hands and playing baseball with feathers, but me....

I just have never been invited to a gunfight but if I was I would probably bring a gun...just not sure what point is.
which were the M16s of that era.the second amendment was passed for citizens shouldering flintlocks.
my argument is about denying access through background checks and eliminating weaponry used in war....you are a single minded redneck cowering behind the argument of responsibility. keep pointing to the second amendment if it makes you feel good but you are part of the problem. you are incapable of seeing any solution to an ever growing threat to our country. keep waving the flag and hugging your drum magazines.you clearly demonstrate that you have a bias by your continued use of terms like joebob, rednecks, militiadreamer, etc. it demonstrates your position without a single question asked. probably caused by the media and your inability to articulate a sound position. calling me redneck doesn't get it done, sorry. yes, you got one right. the person in boston was unresponsible - not the bomb. you make it even more evident that you don't understand responsible gun ownership when you use terms like "numbers game" and "unlimited mayhem". keep up the rhetoric, it's all you have and ultimately exposes your position for what it is - weak and pathetic.
with which you could not commit mass murder numbnutswhich were the M16s of that era.
well saidSerious question. Is it illegal to make bombs? Or drones with weapons on them?
Seems to me that these items and much more sophisticated equipment are what would be needed for a "well-armed" militia to protect itself from a government of USA.
Guns are about fear. Fear of the government, fear of the bogey man, fear of criminals - all fueled by silly entertainment, media, and lobbyists. In countries with well-educated and mature citizens it is not an issue. They ban guns because it is the smart thing to do to keep citizens safe.
If you feel the need to protect yourself from an entity then check out the gun manufacturers, the gun lobby, and almost every other profit-driven corporation that has taken our government from us.
People should want to take up arms against the healthcare industry for price gouging for a bandaid that cost 1 cent and charging 7 dollars for it. We have laws against price gouging that are being ignored because politicians are bought and paid for. Tho oil and gas industry price fixes every day. It's also illegal but politicians are bought and paid for. It goes on and on.
The second amendment debate is just another diversion while the foxes eat all the chickens. The chickens are us and our children.
What would happen if all the gun owners marched on Washington with their weapons at once? All the gun owners would be killed or put in prisons. Wouldn't that make the prison lobby ecstatic!?
i have a bias against your thinking. your worldview is narrow, selfish, and dangerous. you are an irresponsible citizen. responsibility, that's a word you like? i feel responsible to use my first amendment rights to call your thinking irresponsible.you clearly demonstrate that you have a bias by your continued use of terms like joebob, rednecks, militiadreamer, etc. it demonstrates your position without a single question asked. probably caused by the media and your inability to articulate a sound position. calling me redneck doesn't get it done, sorry. yes, you got one right. the person in boston was unresponsible - not the bomb. you make it even more evident that you don't understand responsible gun ownership when you use terms like "numbers game" and "unlimited mayhem". keep up the rhetoric, it's all you have and ultimately exposes your position for what it is - weak and pathetic.
