The image was directed toward public folks, not health workers of which some are my close personal contacts and not directed at families of victims. But you have no problem using stressed out health workers or families to try and shame someone right?

I made a post about the fallacy of healthy people wearing masks, in public. Even Dr. Fauci, who I assume you respect says healthy folks should not be wearing masks. He said it on 60 Minutes, CBS (which you have to admit is a “trusted source”).

Dr. Fauci himself said on CBS 60 MINUTES that people should not be wearing masks.

Are you purposely trying to mislead? That 60 Minutes interview is from March 8th.

On April 3rd he said this.

Americans should wear face masks as a way to help stifle the spread of COVID-19, said Dr. Anthony Fauci, one of the nation's top doctors leading the public health fight against the coronavirus pandemic — a departure from previous government guidance to only wear a mask if you were caring for someone with the illness or had it yourself.

"If everybody does that, we're each protecting each other," Fauci said in an interview with PBS NewsHour anchor and managing editor Judy Woodruff

I agree with you almost completely, but the Democrats did impeach the Drumpf. I think they really tried as best they could, under the system we have, which is now stacked toward fascism, in the Senate, the Executive Branch, and, now, the Judicial Branch. I haven't never thought that Trump is stupid, just devoid of empathy and about immoral as a person could be. He is swayed by his warped sense of grandeur, and has little ideology, except to try to destroy every policy that Democrat, and black man, Obama, ever championed. That makes his job simple. Just steamroll over anything decent. This just happens to dovetail with what the Republicans have always wanted: Power. It certainly doesn't matter if the majority of the country doesn't want what they want. They will just bear down on voter suppression.

CDC scientists overruled in White House push to restart airport fever screenings for COVID-19


The White House is pushing a return to its failed experiment in relying on temperature screening of air travelers to detect coronavirus despite vehement objections from the nation's top public health agency, internal documents obtained by USA TODAY show.

FDOC 'closely monitoring' Liberty County prison after COVID-19 cases triple

The skyrocketing number of COVID-19 cases in Liberty County can be attributed to the prison there.

Since Saturday, May 2, the number of positive cases at the Liberty County Correctional Institution has tripled. The rapid rise in cases prompted questions from the community about how the Department of Corrections is handling the outbreak.

As of May 7, the Liberty County Correctional Institution has 174 positive cases of coronavirus, giving it the highest number of cases at a prison in the state.

According to the FDOC website, 167 inmates and seven staff members are infected. That's an increase of more than 100 positive cases since Saturday, May 2.

The coronavirus appears to be spreading rapidly among inmates at the state's Hamilton Correctional Institution.

Wednesday, the newest report from the Florida Department of Corrections shows 112 inmates at the Hamilton County prison testing positive for COVID-19. That's up from just a dozen in Tuesday's report.

The DOC also reports 489 inmates in medical quarantine, 410 inmates testing negative, and 490 tests pending at Hamilton CI.

Two staff members have also tested positive for the virus, according to the report.

Two other state prisons in North Florida are also dealing with major outbreaks of the virus.

Liberty Correctional Institution in Bristol reports 191 inmates with COVID-19, along with 7 staff.

In Sneads, Apalachee Correctional has 64 inmates with COVID-19, along with 11 staff, according to the DOC report.

In a statement earlier this month, DOC said it has suspended transfers and mandated masks for staff and inmates to battle COVID-19.

Additionally, Florida DOC says inmates showing symptoms are being isolated and given medical care. Between the Apalachee, Hamilton and Liberty prisons, more than a thousand inmates are in medical quarantine.
