COVID-19 vaccines can’t make you sick with COVID-19.
As of April 5, 2021, more than 107 million people across the United States had received at least one dose of COVID-19 vaccine. Of those, more than 62 million are fully vaccinated.
If you haven’t gotten vaccinated yet, get a COVID-19 vaccine when it’s available to you.
After you’ve been fully vaccinated against COVID-19, you should keep taking precautions in public places. Remember to:
Wear a mask that covers your mouth and nose.
↔ Stay at least 6 feet away from people who don’t live with you.
Avoid crowds and poorly ventilated spaces.
Wash your hands often.

Your odds of dying in a car accident are 1 in 103. Hundreds of millions of people have been vaccinated. Your odds of dying from a vaccine are practically zero. I really don't understand the anti-vaxxer mentality.

I think I understand it a little. When I was around 7 I really got in to bigfoot, UFOs, ESP and other "far out" stuff. I felt for awhile like I was on the cusp of learning something most people didn't know and it made me feel more important. And that gaining "true" knowledge about such things was somehow dangerous and that made me special. An insider on the outside.
By the time I was 9 I was certain that my 7-year-old self was a silly fool who knew next to nothing about anything.
